Local media highlight on library services during COVID-19 pandemic. This article references and highlights the program “Take a Deep Breath” which was created by me to help our teens struggling with their mental health during quarantine. I run this program in partnership with our Community Hubs program. This program gives teens a safe space to come and chat and learn about mental health resources in the community from both myself and a Community Health Advocate.

Local TV news interview to highlight Adulting 101 program series. Adulting 101 is an on-going program featured at the El Dorado County Library. I created this program to fill the need of life-skills for 15-25 year olds. Topics we covered included financial planning, car maintenance, taxes, mental self-care, and interpersonal skills.
